www.UniqueParos.com is a part of Pioneer Services group, which is a fully-licensed vehicle rental company, having been a member of the Association of Tourist Rental Car Companies in Greece (STEEAE), which is the only car rental association recognized by the Association of Greek Tourist Companies (SETE) and is fully bonded by GNTB (Greek National Tourist Board-EOT in Greek) for rental services on the islands of Paros and Antiparos with registration number (MHTE) 1175Ε81001134601.
We are fully recognized in the EU for vehicle rental services and have been operating in the car rental sector since 2013.

Paros and Antiparos are two of the most popular islands of Greece in terms of tourism. Visitors, especially in summer, can often find difficulties in finding a rental vehicle or they do find rental vehicles at extremely high rates.

Booking online in advance guarantees the availability of the vehicle category chosen and much lower rates, since in summer all rates increase due to a heavy demand.
Also, through pre-booking you may easily choose your preferred car from a larger variety of available vehicles.

Driver’s license holders of UK, US, Canadian, Australian, New Zealand and all EU member states are NOT required to supply an International Driving Permit (IDP).

International Driving Permits, when required, MUST BE accompanied by the original domestic license of the driver.

This is clearly stated on the international permit. An international permit presented without the domestic license, will not be accepted.

According to Greek Law it is forbidden to rent a car without producing a driver’s license. Photocopies and photographs are not acceptable. Any certificate issued in case of loss or theft of your driver’s license is not acceptable unless it is accredited by local Greek authorities and/or translated through official institutions.

Arrival by airplane (Airport of Paros): One of our representatives will be waiting for you right outside the Airport Arrivals Gate holding a sign with your name written on it. If you have provided your flight number, our agents, monitoring your flight, will make arrangements in case of delays.

Arrival by Ferry (Port of Paros): Upon arrival of your ferry, you can easily visit our main office in Parikia Port on foot (about a 70-meter walking distance from Port’s gate), to pick your car up. Upon confirmation of booking you will receive the pin location of our office.

Other locations in Paros – Antiparos: Our agents will contact you prior to car collection or pick-up in order to deliver or pick-up the chosen car to/from the desired location.

For all reservations, a reservation confirmation e-mail is sent by a representative of our company, after the reservation is completed.

The minimum age for hiring a car is 21 years old for car groups A, A1, A2, A3, B, C and C1.
Drivers must have held a valid driver’s license for at least two years.
For the remaining car groups the minimum age is 25 years old and the driver must have held a valid driver’s license for at least 5 years prior to the rental date.
Younger drivers between 21 and 24 years old or drivers that hold a license for 1-2 years can also rent a car, but an extra charge of 9 Euros per day applies (Young Drivers Supplement).
Senior drivers between 73 and 80 years old may rent a car of categories A, A1, A2, A3, B, C, C1, D, D1, F and F1, but an extra charge of 9 Euros per day applies (Senior Drivers Supplement).
All drivers must hold a valid driver’s license and produce it upon pick-up.

The minimum age for hiring a vehicle is 19 years old for scooters of 50cc and electric scooters and 21 years old for all other categories of scooters and Quads.
Drivers must have held a valid driver’s license for at least one year.

All drivers must hold a valid driver’s license and produce it upon pick-up. Photocopies, photos, or electronic copies will NOT be accepted.

The minimum rental period is two hours. The minimum rental charge cannot be less than one day (24 hours).

As a general rule concerning rentals, you book a category (car of similar size and type), not a specific vehicle. In any case, we strive to provide the specific model chosen on our website, whenever possible. In over 95% of cases, the model you choose is what you get with us.

At Unique Car Rental we ARE VERY CLEAR about what you will pay. The rates we quote are the amounts you pay for. There are NO HIDDEN CHARGES. All taxes and VAT are included in the rates we quote.
Any extra charges will be explicitly shown and written on your voucher and may only be selected on your behalf when booking.

You can extend your rental on the condition that you notify us of the extension at least 24 hours prior to prearranged return, being subject to availability (in case of last-minute extensions charges apply in comparison to current prices).

You can modify your reservation, being subject to availability, up to at least 48hours prior to the time of the prearranged pick-up, totally for free.
For cancellations up to 14 days prior to pick-up, no cancellation fees apply. However, if you choose to pay online, banking fees may apply for returning your money on your account.

Free unlimited kilometers are included in the rates for Paros and Antiparos.

We offer the following selection of high-quality EU standard baby seats with CE certification for our little friends:
Infant/Baby Seats: 6 to 17 kgs (13 to 37.5 lbs.)
Isofix Infant/Baby Seats: 6 to 17 kgs (13 to 37.5 lbs.)
Kid/Booster Seats: 18 to 36 kgs (38 to 79 lbs.)
Infant/Baby Cot: 0 – 9 kgs (0 to 20 lbs.)
Please reserve one at the time of booking to guarantee availability.

In case of breakdown please call us at the telephone number shown both on our website and your contract as soon as possible and a representative of our company will meet you as soon as possible. Please make sure before calling us that the vehicle has enough fuel or that you press the brake pedal (for automatic cars) and/or the clutch pedal (for manual cars) to start the car.

You are not allowed to drive our rental vehicles out of Paros or Antiparos without our company’s prior written permission.

Most major credit and debit cards, including VISA and MasterCard, are accepted for paying for a car rental.
AMEX, Apple Pay, Google Pay and China Union Pay are also fully accepted but incur an extra charge of 3% due to very high commissions in Greece.

No security deposit is required to rent a vehicle with us, as long as you hold a valid credit card.
A valid credit card is recommended for the rental, but you can always rent a vehicle paying in cash or by debit card. In this case, you may be asked to leave cash deposit or we can charge a security deposit amount to your debit card which will be refunded upon return of the vehicle without any damages.

Pick-up and collection are free from our Main Office at the port of Paros and at the airport of Paros during office hours (08:30 to 22:00 everyday incl. Sundays). Delivery to or collection from any Local Accommodation incurs extra charges, pre-determined and displayed on our website.
We deliver and collect vehicles all over Paros and Antiparos.
After-hours (22:00 to 08:30) delivery and/or collection incur an extra charge, pre-determined and displayed on our website.

In each rental contract two drivers per vehicle can be included, offered free of charge.

If you wish to book more than one vehicle of the same category for the same dates, when booking please add to the notes section the number of similar vehicles you wish to book, the name and a contact phone number for the reservation of each one. After this, we will contact you to arrange any additional details. Otherwise, you have to book each vehicle separately.

You may return your rental vehicle earlier than stated in the rental contract, but no refund will be given, since the car was booked for a certain period and therefore is not available for any bookings online or otherwise.
For fuel excess you will not receive any reimbursement.

Yes, it is. All you have to do is to visit our central office during office hours and arrange it with one of our agents.

We aim to make all our clients feel happy when visiting us and upon their return.

Damage may sometimes occur. We would never wish to overcharge, but in cases that this is required and in order to make sure that our clients are satisfied, we use an official tool (DAT), which offers an exact official estimate of each damage on the spot for a certain car model, which these charges are based on. Our clients also benefit directly from the discounts offered by car repair garages and suppliers of car parts. We are against profiting from car damages that refer to our clients.
